Source image for this tutorial is Sydney’s Opera building. We will animate water surface and add clouds.

Start the Corner-A Artstudio.
Program interface:

Click “Load image” button to add image. Or you can simply click “Create new project” in Startup dialog, “Load image” will be called automatically.


Click “Add new layer” button:

You’ll see effect selection dialog, effects are divided to the three categories : standatd (simple), nature and abstract filters:

You can see the added layer in the layer’s window:

You can see effect layer parameters in Filter settings window, which can be customized with mouse or keyboard help:

After layer is added, you can draw it’s area mask. Drawing tools you can find in toolbar:
— turns on tool “brush” to draw mask
— turns on tool “Eraser” to erase mask
Also you can change brush size with hotkeys “[" and "]”
So, there is out mask for water layer:

When mask is don, you can customize layer’s parameters in layer’s panel (turn off mask visibility with button in toolbar to see pure effect).
You can give layer name. At this sample first layer get name “Sea”:

In this tutorial we have second effect layer. Click “Add new layer” button:

And add “Clouds 3d” filter, which is located in section “Nature”. The new layer will be added to the layers panel:

You can hide any layer with click of “Eye” icon – this can help with current layer editing.

Second layer’s mask is filled the same way as the first one, here is screenshot of final scene with two layers:

Complete scene can saved as arw-file:

And exported to the next formats:
