PhotoStyler is at public alpha version now.
The link is http://corner-a.com/files/photostyler/PhotoStyler_4.0a1.dmg (14.7 mb)
That’s new comparing to 3.X:
- Presets preview dialog with presets thumbnails and “quick look”-like option.
- New basement framework used by the LightFrame project as well. This will result better performance, stability and more features for both projects in the future.
- New in-place editor for the “Tatter” effect, freeform lines are now supported.
- New UI elements with LightFrame-like photo view area, background selector and a zoom control.
- New textures library location and view, user-defined textures are shared with LightFrame.
- Improved performance for various filters. “Levels” filter has been updated with quality fix (fixed the bug with colors overflow with “Levels”, “AutoLevels” or “AutoContrast” applied) and performance improvement as well.
- Filter in-place selector moved to the separate tool window.
- Some other visual changes for better look and feel.
We still have plans for this version and new feature may apply, but stability is the main option for now and I will really appreciate any help. Please, specify your e-mail address when you send the crash report so I can write you back. If PhotoStyler crashes during the photo loading – I need the image file to fix the issue, you can send me it to the support at corner-a.com.
LightFrame will be also update with the Presets and Presets Preview Dialog a little bit later.
That’s all for now.
